Corrective Facials

Corrective facials are clinician-led treatments selected to support specific skin concerns while maintaining skin barrier function and overall skin health.

Treatment components are chosen based on current skin condition and progress, rather than fixed facial menus or trend-led protocols.

What this Treatment Involves

Corrective facials may incorporate a combination of modalities and techniques, selected following clinical assessment of skin condition, tolerance and recovery capacity.

These treatments are designed to support concerns including acne, pigmentation, inflammation, barrier impairment and age-related skin changes, and are adjusted over time in response to skin response and progress.

Corrective facials are not relaxation-based or “express” treatments.

Who this is for

  • Acne or congestion

  • Pigmentation concerns

  • Inflammatory or sensitised skin

  • Barrier impairment or instability

  • Clients requiring non-peel, non-needling corrective care

What to expect

  • Treatment components selected based on skin assessment

  • Conservative approach prioritising skin tolerance

  • Minimal to moderate downtime may occur, depending on treatment focus

  • Aftercare guidance provided to support skin response

Treatment Progression

Corrective facials are commonly used as part of a progressive treatment plan.

As skin condition improves or tolerance increases, treatment focus and modality selection may change. More intensive treatments may be introduced where clinically appropriate.

How this differs from other treatments

Corrective facials differ from herb peels and microneedling in that treatment selection is not based on a single modality.

Instead, techniques and technologies are combined and adjusted over time to support skin stability, function and recovery.

Depending on skin condition, corrective facials may incorporate elements such as cleansing, exfoliation, enzymatic treatments, extractions where appropriate, LED support, sonophoresis, lifting or toning techniques, calming or corrective actives, and barrier-focused aftercare.

Corrective facials are available in 60 or 90 minute appointments.
